	SENIOR USER INTERFACE DESIGNER WALMART.COM Brisbane, Ca. 02/05 - 10/07	Assigned to various departments to support business initiatives for large scale E-commerce web site. Was a member of team tasked with redesigning flagship web site. Designed and created specifications for specialized web sites for organic/green initiatives, music download services, photo services and pharmacy departments. Designed departmental style guides, brand standards documents, multimedia presentations and content templates for partnerships with big brand manufacturers.
	MUSEUM SCIENTIST UNIVERSITY OF CA. BERKELEY BOTANICAL GARDEN Berkeley, Ca. 4/03 - Present	Responsible for managing museum collections of rare plants in world-renowned botanical garden. Duties are to design landscape, create displays & interpretive signage, present tours and instruct students in horticultural & museum practices.
	DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SWITCH TECHNOLOGIES Berkeley, Ca. 11/00 - 4/03	Responsible for design of information architecture, coding and technical specifications for custom web application development for client web sites. Cnceptualized and developed flagship product the Switch Publishing system. Client web sites include The National Basketball Players Association, Ducati Motor’s Ducatiworld, Sorrent (GLU.com), Guerrillafunk Records and GNN.tv
	DIRECTOR OF WEB DEVELOPMENT POLYVERSE Berkeley, Ca 6/00 - 10/00	As Director of Web Development, responsible for developing web sites and multimedia projects for a youth-culture entertainment company. Online assets developed ranged in topic from, DJ music culture, concert promotions and extreme sports multimedia sites.
	SENIOR INTERFACE DESIGNER LOOKSMART.com San Francisco, Ca 3/99 - 6/00	As Senior Interface Designer for business development and syndicated products division, designed business presentations, conceptualized and produced co-branded web sites and provided technical advice to Bus. Dev. Team. Peripheral assignments included working with Information Architect to develop IA and UI design standards proven though user testing.
	LEAD DESIGNER SNAP.com / NBCi San Francisco, Ca. 6/98 - 3/99	As a Lead Interface designer for partnership web sites, I designed co-branded web sites and co-developed features such as online maps and search products. I also designed the corporate Intranet, internal design style guides and business development presentations. In between breaths I also created identity & promotional assets for print, online and Television.
	Designer CNet San Francisco, Ca. 6/97 - 6/98	While employed, I designed graphics and interfaces for various CNet web properties. I was on the production team member for one of the first Internet tutorial CD-ROMs. I also designed the first Internet sweepstakes contest (Mach3 Sweepstakes).
	San Francisco Art Institute BFA	Concentration in painting, drawing, photography and art history
	Santa Barbara City College AA	Concentration in drafting, drawing, science and sculpture.
	Computer Skills	Solid understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, Perl, PHP, JSP and JavaScript. Mac, PC and Unix literate. Print methods and pre press savvy.
	Program Knowledge	PhotoShop, Illustrator, Quark, ImageReady, Flash (action scripting) , BBedit, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Premier, Director, Powerpoint and familiar with 3D and video applications.
	Other Superpowers	Hand sketching and illustration, Display and exhibit construction skills, Sound stage design, DJ mixing abilities, Music event development and promotion, and most importanly I can laugh at myself.
	I play soccer, surf, backcounrty hike and am an avid collector of succulent plants. I have volunteered with American Youth Soccer Organization and the Surfrider Foundation. Under the stage name DJ Big Dolla I play musical genre blending mashups, funk, and hip hop at art drenched events such as Bohemian Carnival, Bootie, Cirque Berzerk and Get Freaky. I am a founding member of the “Fringe Arts Collective”, a group dedicated supporting live music, art and performance in the Bay Area, Burning Man & beyond.
